Incorporated on December 23, 1999, the Jamaican Canadian Cultural Association of British Columbia (JCCABC) was formed under the National Council of Jamaicans and Supportive Organizations in Canada (NCJSOC). Its mission: to support Jamaican immigrants in BC and celebrate Jamaican culture within a diverse and inclusive Canada.
Over the years, JCCABC has collaborated with local partners — including community leaders, politicians, the RCMP, and the Health Authority — to promote unity, trust, respect, equity, and health awareness within our communities.
Through annual social events, outreach programs, post-secondary scholarships, and cultural education, we continue to uplift Jamaican newcomers while building bridges between cultures and generations.
